An Invitation
To participate in a Task Force for Seasons for Peace and Nonviolence
in the Kansas City Area,

Thursday, March 4th, 7:00 p.m.

A task force to plan events for Seasons for Peace and Non-Violence in the Kansas City area is meeting on . You are invited to come, give your input and see if you’d like to be part of the task force for 2010. In the past, you may have been familiar with the Season for Non-Violence occurring between the end of January and the first of April. That program has been expanded to include a year-round effort to focus more attention on the many aspects of non-violence that are needed in communities around Kansas City and beyond. This year-round program, instituted by Global New Thought is now called Seasons for Peace and Non-Violence, and includes four seasons: Seasons for the Earth, Season for Humane Service, Season for Interfaith Celebration and The Ghandi King Chavez Season for Peace and Nonviolence.

Join as we welcome guest speaker Rev James Trapp.
Talk title "Symphony of Your Soul"

Reverend James Trapp is president and CEO of the Association of Unity Churches International. James graduated and was ordained as a Unity minister in 1994 from the Unity School for Religious Studies (now Unity Institute). Subsequent to that time he served as co-minister and senior minister at Unity on the Bay in Miami, Florida. James was a participant in the 2004 Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona, Spain. Rev. Trapp holds a degree in economics from Princeton University, a law degree from the University of Florida, and an Honorary Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Florida Theological Seminary.
