Free Hot Soup KC is coordinating meals to the houseless that are staying in hotels paid for by the city.

There are a total of 12 hotels in the program and about 400 houseless friends.

Pamela O'Kane has been working with 2-3 hotels every Saturday to provide meals to about 35- 70 people.

Saturday, June 26th, we're planning a cookout at two hotels (and food drop at 3rd).

We need volunteers to help at the cookout (cooking on the grill, serving, cleanup).

Also need some food donations--water, bottled/canned drinks, cake mixes, a few bags of chips, gas grill

And the following Saturday, July 3rd, we will need help cooking and serving. We will be cooking salmon and rice and a veggie as well as dessert.
